The alliance that became getting FILM PRODUCTIONS began in New Orleans in the summer of 2004. Christian Lloyd hit the Big Easy with 3 friends (Sanjay Desai among them) to escape the hell of dealing with his recent breakup. During their last supper together, Christian sprung the idea that became the blueprint for Getting Lucky. Three weeks later, the play was written and accepted into the popular Rhubarb Festival (Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Toronto, Canada).
